Well, I made it back on the trail today after my legs un-swelled overnight, and made it through another 18 miles. Lots of walking in these interconnected conserved and I didn`t see even one sheep today. Shocking! I`m officially over halfway to Bath with three more days left hiking. ...
Currently sitting with my feet up the wall trying to de-escalate some swelling. I`m not going to lie, today was a tough mental day pushing through the pain in my feet. I knew it wouldn`t be easy, but for my avid-hiker feet to just quit on me, feels unfair. The views were phenomenal as usual, though, with views of Cheltenham most of the day. I felt like I was taking a big circular walk in the massive hills surrounding the town until I peeled off. Hoping the pain goes away overnight so I can continue as planned. There`s stubborn, and there`s stupid. I`m not aiming to be the latter, my legs are important! ...
