WHO

Some may call me passionate, creative, sensitive, patient, loyal and kind, while others may call me energetic, empathetic, adventurous, relatable, and warm. However you want to put it, you can be assured you are in the most caring and thoughtful hands when you choose me to photograph your most special moments. I see myself as one of the most empathetic people, meaning I feel what you feel, I am usually one step ahead of things, and I can react quickly to whatever you need. I love being that person for you.

WHAT + WHEN

I started my photography business back in Boston in 2010, but we moved to the Berkshires to become a family back in 2016. We live in a home we designed and built ourselves, alongside our fathers in the central, quintessential New England town of Stockbridge. I've been photographing all sorts of wonderful people for over 13 years and cannot think of anything else I would rather do.

WHERE

What I love about being a photographer is I have no one location to call work. While I do my editing and many consultations from home, my work can take me to many different places; to new locations or familiar spaces, coffee shops, backyards, hiking trails, you name it. The majority of my weddings happen in and around the Berkshires and Vermont, but I have a passport and I'm willing to let it take me anywhere! Wedding in Portugal, yes please!

WHY

My two littles. I want my girls to grow up knowing they can do and be whatever they want in life no matter how hard or daunting it may be. I want them to see how much fun I have in my career choice and teach them how to be strong, smart, and successful women (successful = being happy in their life choices) who take care of themselves, as well as those around them.

"BEING IN YOUR ELEMENT IS NOT ONLY ABOUT APTITUDE, IT'S ABOUT PASSION: IT IS ABOUT LOVING WHAT YOU DO... TAPPING INTO YOUR NATURAL ENERGY AND YOUR MOST AUTHENTIC SELF."

- SIR KEN ROBINSON

Get to know me!

what are some of your favorite things?

Children’s laughter. A good book and a nap blanket. Fall in New England. A warm latte before a morning of skiing. Crispy apple cider donuts. A butt wag from an overly friendly dog. Traveling. A mom’s night out. Family. Supporting my people. Indie folk music. Hiking. Setting goals and reaching them. Fresh bread, obviously.

What is the best part of a wedding?

Everyone has their opinions, but my favorite part of a wedding as the photographer is when I get to take away my couples during golden hour. It gives us all a chance to step away from the excitement for a few minutes, talk about the day, look back at all the guests enjoying the cocktail hour or reception, and take a big deep breath (or five). It's peaceful, inspiring, and a way to rejoice in the successes of the day.

What do you do in your spare time?

I spend a lot of my time outdoors, whether that’s in the garden during the spring, summer, and fall, or hiking year-round, skiing in the winter or biking the beautiful, local backroads. I also enjoy reading historical fiction and witty romantic books with great banter. I love creating memories with my family no matter what our agenda and watching our girls grow into strong, smart, and independent people.

mountains or beach?

Do I have to choose? I'm a Pisces, so I've always been drawn to the ocean, mostly for the calming sounds it provides, but my happiest place is in the mountains, any mountains. Can you smell that? It's fresh air!

WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST LOVE?

Basketball. You could always find me in the gym before and after practice or playing in the driveway in the snow or rain in order to perfect my dribbling and shooting skills. Now I live vicariously through watching college basketball. Go UConn!

IF YOU COULD EAT ONLY ONE MORE MEAL FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Banana pancakes from Sweet Songs Jungle Lodge in Belize. Seriously, it's that specific because they were truly that good.

IF YOU COULD HAVE A SUPER POWER, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

I'd obviously want the ability to fly. I've always been obsessed with travel, so that would definitely make it easier!
