When Katelyn approached me to photograph her and Shawn’s destination Maine wedding, I couldn’t have been more excited! The coast of Maine offers so many amazing places to see and things to do that it is the perfect spot to have family and friends come spend a weekend! Katelyn and Shawn specifically chose the Black Point Inn, a gorgeous estate set on Prout’s neck in Scarborough, just south of Portland, as the home base for their wedding weekend and it was nothing short of perfect. The entire staff, the scenery, it was all spectacular!
These two tied the knot out on the lawn with a chilly October breeze and distant views of the ocean, celebrated with an amazing sunset, and spent the night dancing away in the warmth of the inn.
