When I’m not photographing a wedding in the Berkshires or Vermont, it’s time to dedicate my skills to family sessions. Nothing gives me greater joy than having a previous couple contact me to document their lives as two become three, or four, as new babies and puppies are welcomed into families.
These two got married in Vermont at the end of July 2017, while shortly thereafter closing on a house outside of Boston. I received the most ADORABLE surprise email from them first leading me to believe they were welcoming a new “…. Puppy” into the family but my gut told me to keep reading quick because there MUST be more news. I continued to read the email and low and behold Shaina was pregnant and not only were they expecting the arrival of Pommes-de-terre (Pommes for short), but a little girl was due in October. They have been busy with a new house, new puppy, new baby (all sounds way too familiar) and they are settling into parenthood with a confident ease and gentle demeanor.
Matt and Shaina have been super patient waiting for this blog post, let’s be honest, they knew it was coming and a social media sneak peek just isn’t enough to do this growing family justice! I couldn’t be happier for them and I’m honored to document each of their milestones and take great pride in the opportunity to help welcome Ms. Sophie.
