A Fresh 48 session is scheduled during a baby’s first 48 hours, and I think I’m in love with them! Last week, Theodore was born at Fairview Hospital in Great Barrington, amongst the same, amazing doctors and nurses that helped bring Emma into this world. I entered the quiet maternity ward where Amy, Michael and Theodore were the only ones to inhabit the rooms there, the whole space to themselves. There was a lot of snuggling, tons of teeny tiny baby yawns, wrinkly toes and quick naps between feeds. And before I knew it, the session was over and Theodore was back to nurse check-ins and tests that would prep him for his journey home.
