The excitement was palpable between Nico and Lydia for their surprise wedding since the first time I met them. I’m so highly impressed they kept such a humongous secret from their closest family and friends. I was thrilled to be one of the few folks in on the surprise!
We started our day prepping at Michele’s Salon in Great Barrington with stylist, Chelsea. Nico and Lydia are long-time clients and friends of hers and she couldn’t have been more excited. Lydia and I then met up with Nico at the Swiss Hutte and watched from the other side of the parking lot as their precious guests piled into the restaurant. When they felt the moment was right, they went in and said hello.
Everyone thought these lovebirds were eloping and this was a celebration of that. Nico got up to play a song with his brother, then they invited a great friend up to do their surprise nuptials. There was shock around the room as everyone erupted with joy!
The rest of the evening was filled with delicious food, impromptu speeches, great emotion and fun mingling with their guests.
